Lakshmanan Chidambaram, fondly known as CTL, is the President and Head of Americas Leadership Council at Tech Mahindra, and the Americas Head for Mahindra Group. Since 2016, CTL has led one of Tech Mahindra's largest business units, focusing on strategy, innovation, and growth across multiple industries. His efforts have significantly advanced sectors including banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, energy, and the public sector.

As Americas Head for Mahindra Group, CTL is committed to enhancing the brand and expanding its presence across the Americas, building strong connections and partnerships. With over three decades of experience in IT, business processes, engineering, and networks, he has pioneered innovative business models and leveraged emerging technologies for transformative results. He was instrumental in the successful integration and revitalisation of Satyam post its acquisition by Tech Mahindra.

Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, CTL held significant leadership roles at Syntel and HCL. He is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and environmental sustainability, and his leadership philosophy centres on empowering teams to realise their full potential. He champions a culture of customer delight, making it a core principle at Tech Mahindra.

CTL is a member of the Group Executive Board (GEB) of the Mahindra Group and serves as the Director and President of Tech Mahindra America. He has represented Tech Mahindra at the World Economic Forum, the WSJ CEO Council, and is a board member of the US-India Business Council (USIBC).

CTL's leadership development includes the Mahindra Group's 18-month programme in collaboration with IMD Lausanne, Yale Business School, and Mahindra Learning University.
